Something new is coming!

The Urban Trails Garden is now TMCO Urban Commons. TMCO is working to reopen a small local-forward retail space, provide nature-based educational programming, and partner with local organizations to create a space for community programming.

There is a blue wheelchair accessibility sign and two recycling bins to the right of the house. The sky is clear and blue.

Rooted in place, designed for all

TMCO Urban Commons is an urban nature oasis in the South Salt Creek Neighborhood selling local art and nature-related products, offering free educational programming, and working to build community.

Retail Space - coming soon!

TMCO Urban Commons has a small retail space inside the main building that focuses on nature and garden related items. We are currently working with local businesses and vendors to open up the retail space. If you are a local vendor or artist interested in selling your merchandise at TMCO Urban Commons, contact info@tmcourbancommons.com.

Programming

TMCO Urban Commons is thrilled to be able to open up our beautiful space for free programming. During these times, the retail space featuring local vendors and artists will be open to the public. Come enjoy the beautiful garden while you learn and connect with others.

A lush garden scene with dense green foliage surrounding a small pond. The pond has water lilies and is bordered by rocks, with small waterfalls flowing into it. Tall trees and bushes provide shade.
A backyard garden with lush green foliage, flowering plants, a small waterfall feature, and a house in the background.
A lush garden path surrounded by green plants and trees, with a wooden fence visible on the right, and potted flowers on the left.

TMCO Urban Commons partners with Lincoln Parks & Recreation to utilize and maintain the greenhouses. When you visit the space, you’ll notice the greenhouses being used for propagating and growing all types of plants, shrubs, and trees for Lincoln’s parks and green spaces. While not open to the public, they add to the beauty of the space. This collaboration is just one that TMCO is committed to for building community in our neighborhood.
