Who We Are

In 2025, TMCO, a family-owned metal manufacturing company in downtown Lincoln, NE bought The Urban Trails Garden Center at 4th and F Streets. The vision was to maintain the retail space for local nature-based products and art, provide free nature-based educational programming, and partner with community organizations.

To continue TMCO’s commitment to their employees and the local community, the Urban Trails Garden is now TMCO Urban Commons; an urban nature and retail space in the South Salt Creek neighborhood that promotes local retailers and education for the community.

What we’re working on:

  • We are working with local vendors and artists to fill our retail space with garden and nature-based items. Our retail space will be open during all programming. Check out our free programming on the calendar for times the retail space is open.

  • We are partnering with various organizations to create free educational opportunities for families and schools to engage with and learn about nature in an urban setting. For now, see our calendar of programming for dates and times.

  • TMCO Urban Commons partners with Lincoln Parks and Recreation who maintain and utilize all the greenhouse spaces for their downtown projects.
